I was the project owner of a 10 person team who were developing a game over 20 weeks. The premise of the game is a top down fighter game, which takes place in best carousers throughout space and time. During the development of the game we have been using Unreal Engine 4, with Per Force and Agile development.
Besides managing the project, I heavily influenced the code of the project. Majority code that is used for the character was written by me. This includes the state machine that blends animations with procedural effects. Along with teaching best coding practices to the rest of the programming team. During the project I have been experimenting with integrating Nvidia’s Flex into the project. Aiming at using the softbody simulation and water simulation in the final game.
